त्यांनी आपला राजीनामा बीसीसीआयचे सचिव जय शाह (Jay Shah) यांच्याकडे पाठवला असून त्यांनी तो स्वीकारला आहे.
बीसीसीआयचे मुख्य निवडकर्ता चेतन शर्मा (Chetan Sharma) यांनी आपल्या पदाचा राजीनामा दिला आहे. त्यांनी आपला राजीनामा बीसीसीआयचे सचिव जय शाह (Jay Shah) यांच्याकडे पाठवला असून त्यांनी तो स्वीकारला आहे. चेतन शर्माने नुकतेच एका स्टिंग ऑपरेशन दरम्यान अनेक खुलासे केले आहेत. टी-20 विश्वचषकात टीम इंडियाच्या खराब कामगिरीनंतर त्याला मुख्य निवडकर्ता पदावरून हटवण्यात आले होते. मात्र, 2 महिन्यांनंतर ते पुन्हा मुख्य निवडकर्ता झाले. अर्थात या स्टिंग ऑपरेशननंतर चेतन शर्मा स्वतःच अडचणीत सापडले होते.
