न्यूझीलंड विरोधात ढाका येथे सुरु असलेल्या पहिल्या टी-20 सामन्यात यजमान बांगलादेशने किवी संघाला 16.5 ओव्हरमध्ये फक्त 60 धावांवर गुंडाळले. किवी संघासाठी कर्णधार टॉम लाथम आणि हेन्री निकोल्स यांनी प्रत्येकी 18 धावा केल्या. तर बांग्लादेशसाठी मुस्तफिझूर रहमानने सर्वाधिक 3 विकेट्स घेतल्या. तसेच शाकिब अल हसन, नुसुम आणि सैफुद्दीनने प्रत्येकी 2 विकेट घेतल्या.
