भारतामध्ये Monkeypox चा पहिला रूग्ण आढळल्यानंतर आता मंकिपॉक्सला हाताळण्यासाठी Ministry of Health and Family Welfare कडून नवी नियमावली जारी करण्यात आली आहे. यामध्ये आंतरराष्ट्रीय प्रवाशांनी आजारी लोकांशी जवळचा संपर्क टाळावा, मृत किंवा जिवंत वन्य प्राणी आणि इतरांशी संपर्क टाळावा. असे आवाहन करण्यात आले आहे.
