छत्तीसगडमधून 23 हत्तींचा कळप महाराष्ट्रातील गडचिरोली विभागात 12-13 ऑगस्ट रोजी दाखल झाला. या कळपामुळे 2 घपघात आणि काही मालमत्तेचे नुकसान झाले. मालमत्तेच्या नुकसानीची भरपाई आम्ही एका आठवड्यात शेतकऱ्यांना देऊ, अशी माहिती धनंजय वायभासे, सहाय्यक वनसंरक्षक यांनी दिली आहे.

A herd of 23 elephants entered Maharashtra's Gadchiroli division from Chhattisgarh on 12-13th August. 2 casualties & some property damage were caused by them.
