'Bharat Jodo Yatra' च्या पार्श्वभूमीवर Rahul Gandhi हे वडील Rajiv Gandhi यांच्या स्मारकावर पोहचले. यावेळी त्यांना वंदन करून आज कन्याकुमारी ते कश्मीर अशी पुढील 150 दिवसांची यात्रा राहुल गांधी सुरू करणार आहेत. त्यांनी ट्वीट करत मी माझे वडील द्वेषाच्या राजकारणामुळे गमावले आहेत. पण आता यामुळे मी माझा प्रिय देश गमवू इच्छित नाही. 'प्रेमाने द्वेषावर मात करू, आशेने भीतीवर मात करू असा विश्वास त्यांनी व्यक्त केला आहे.
