Chandigarh Mayor Polls: AAP महापौर उमेदवाराच्या बाजूने देण्यात आलेली 8 मतं वैध- सर्वोच्च न्यायालय
सर्वोच्च न्यायालयात झालेल्या सुनावणीच्या एक दिवस आधी मनोज सोनकर यांनी महापौरपदाचा राजीनामा दिला. यासोबतच आम आदमी पक्षाच्या तीन नगरसेवकांनी पक्ष सोडून भाजपमध्ये प्रवेश केला आहे.
चंदीगड महापौरपदाची निवडणूक प्रकरणामध्ये सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने मतदानातील मतांची पुन्हा मतमोजणी केली जावी आणि आप च्या महापौरांना देण्यात आलेली आठ मतं वैध मानली जावीत असं म्हटलं आहे. त्यामुळे या 8 वैध मतांच्या आधारे नव्याने निकाल दिला जावा असे सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने म्हटलं आहे.
