Kupwara मध्ये Machhil भागात 3 जवान हिमस्खलनात शहीद झाल्याची माहिती कुपवाडा पोलीसांकडून देण्यात आली आहे. मच्छल सेक्टरमध्ये एका गस्ती पथकावर बर्फाचा डोंगर कोसळला. बर्फात अडकलेल्या 2 सैनिकांची सुटका करून त्यांना कुपवाडा येथील लष्करी रुग्णालयात हलवण्यात आले. एकाला hypothermia झाला. त्यालाही लष्करी रुग्णालयात हलवण्यात आले. मात्र तिघांनाही वाचवण्यात यश आले नाही.

UPDATE | A snow slide struck a patrol party in Machhal Sector. 2 soldiers stuck in snow were rescued & evacuated to Military Hospital Kupwara. Another soldier part of patrol, developed hypothermia & was evacuated to Military hospital. All 3 couldn't survive: PRO Defense Srinagar
