हे कर्नाटक राज्यातील काटील येथील देवीचे मंदिर दुर्गा परमेश्वरी नावाने प्रसिद्ध आहे. मान्यतेनुसार या मंदिरात शतकानुशतके अग्निकेलीची परंपरा सुरू आहे, ज्यामध्ये लोक जीवाची पर्वा न करता एकमेकांवर आग फेकतात. येथील लोक ही परंपरा 8 दिवस सण म्हणून साजरी करतात.
