Baby Girija Dies: प्रसिद्ध मल्याळम अभिनेत्री बेबी गिरिजा (Baby Girija) यांचे निधन झाले आहे. गिरिजा यांनी 11 मे रोजी चेन्नईतील त्यांच्या राहत्या घरी अखेरचा श्वास घेतला. त्या 83 वर्षांच्या होत्या. गिरिजाने 1950 च्या दशकापासून मल्याळम चित्रपटांमध्ये आपले स्थान निर्माण केले. अभिनेत्रीने आपल्या अभिनयाने चाहत्यांच्या मनावर राज्य केलं. विशेषत: जिविथा नौका या क्लासिक चित्रपटातील तिची भूमिका खूप गाजली. त्यानंतरच्या काही वर्षांत, बेबी गिरिजाने ‘अचन’, ‘विशापिंडे विली’, ‘प्रेमलेखा’, ‘अवान वरुणू’ आणि ‘पुथरा धर्मम’ यासह अनेक मल्याळम चित्रपटांमध्ये भूमिका केल्या.
