व्लादिमीर पुतिन (Vladimir Putin) पाचव्यांदा रशियाच्या राष्ट्रपती पदी विराजमान होणार आहेत. त्यांनी 88% मतांनी विजय मिळवला आहे. रविवार (17 मार्च) दिवशी जाहीर झालेल्या निवडणूकांच्या निकालामध्ये पुतिन यांनी 87.97 % मतांनी विजय मिळवला आहे. Communist Party of the Russian Federation च्या Nikolai Kharitonov दुसर्या स्थानी आहे त्यांना 4.1% मतं मिळाली असून New People Partyचे उ मेदवार Vladislav Davankov यांना 4.8% मतं मिळाली आहेत.
