राष्ट्रीय भूकंप विज्ञान केंद्राने (NCS) दिलेल्या वृत्तानुसार, शुक्रवारी म्यानमारमध्ये 7.2 तीव्रतेचा मोठा भूकंप झाला. दिल्ली-एनसीआरमध्ये भूकंपाचे धक्के जाणवले. भूकंपाचे केंद्र अक्षांश: 21.93 उत्तर, लांब: 96.07 पूर्व येथे 10किलोमीटर खोलीवर होते.
दरम्यान, याआधी गुरुवारी मध्य प्रदेशातील सिंगरौली शहरात 3.5 रिश्टर स्केलचा सौम्य भूकंप झाला. 4.38 PM ला भूकंपाचा हादरा बसला, त्याचा केंद्रबिंदू निर्देशांक 24.21°N, 82.57°E आणि 5 किलोमीटर खोलीवर होता.
