महाराष्ट्रातील (Maharashtra) बीड जिल्ह्यातील लांब पल्ल्याच्या धावपटू अविनाश साबळे (Avinash Sable) याने आशियाई क्रीडा स्पर्धेत 3000 मीटर स्टीपलचेसमध्ये सुवर्ण पदक पटकावलं आहे. ही कामगिरी करणारा तो पहिला भारतीय खेळाडू ठरला आहे. एथलेटिक्स स्पर्धांमधलं (Asian Games) भारताचं हे पहिलं सुवर्ण पदक आहे. अविनाशच्या या कामगिरीसाठी त्याच्यावर कौतुकाचा आणि शुभेच्छांचा वर्षाव केला जातोय. तर आता भारताच्या खात्यात सुवर्ण पदकांची संख्येत वाढ झाली आहे. सातव्या दिवसाअखेर भारताची पदक संख्या 38 पर्यंत पोहचली आहे.
