पाकिस्तानवरील भारताच्या 'ऑपरेशन सिंदूर' नंतर बॉलीवूड अभिनेत्री प्रीती झिंटाने लष्करातील शहीद पत्नींना आणि त्यांच्या मुलांच्या कल्याणासाठी 1.1 कोटी रुपये दान केले आहेत. पंजाब किंग्जच्या मालकीने आयपीएल संघाच्या सीएसआर उपक्रमाचा भाग म्हणून आर्मी वाइव्हज वेल्फेअर असोसिएशन (AWWA) ला हे योगदान दिले आहे.
पंजाब किंग्जची सह-मालक आणि बॉलिवूड अभिनेत्री प्रीती झिंटाने (Preity Zinta) ऑपरेशन सिंदूर (Operation Sindoor) भारतीय सैन्याच्या साउथ वेस्टर्न कमांडच्या आर्मी वाइव्हज वेल्फेअर असोसिएशन (AWWA) ला 1.1 कोटी रुपये दिले आहेत. पंजाब किंग्जच्या कॉर्पोरेट सोशल रिस्पॉन्सिबिलिटी (CSR) निधीतून प्रीती झिंटाने तिच्या वाट्याचे हे योगदान मुलांच्या शिक्षणाला पाठिंबा म्हणून दिले आहे. "आपल्या सशस्त्र दलांच्या शूर कुटुंबांना परतफेड करणे ही एक जबाबदारी आहे. आपल्या सैनिकांनी केलेल्या बलिदानाची कधीही खरोखर परतफेड करता येणार नाही, परंतु आपण त्यांच्या कुटुंबांच्या पाठीशी उभे राहू शकतो आणि त्यांच्या पुढील प्रवासाला पाठिंबा देऊ शकतो," असे तिच्या हवाल्याने प्रसिद्धीपत्रकात म्हटले आहे.
