Nana Patole यांची 'मी मोदीला मारू शकतो, शिव्याही देऊ शकतो' अशा आक्षेपार्ह विधानाची क्लिप सोशल मीडीयात वायरल झाली आहे. भाजपाकडून व्हीडिओवर स्पष्टीकरण देत म्हणाले,' मी गावगुंडाबाबत बोलत होतो'. याबाबत ट्वीटर वर खुलासा करत त्यांनी 'माझ्या मतदारसंघातील मोदी नावाच्या स्थानिक गुंडाबाबत नागरिकांनी माझ्याकडे तक्रारी केल्या असता मी त्यांच्याशी बोलतानाचा व्हिडीओ खोडसाळपणे सोशल मीडियावर व्हायरल केला जात आहे. मी पुन्हा स्पष्ट करतो मी तिथे पंतप्रधान मोदींबद्दल नाही,तर मोदी नावाच्या स्थानिक गुंडाबाबत बोलत होतो.'
