तुम्हाला जर सोशल मीडिया, व्हॉट्सअॅप, ई-मेल, मेसेज अथव फोनद्वारे अटक अथवा कायदेशीर कारवाई करण्याबाबत संदेश प्राप्त झाला तर घाबरु नका. तुम्ही थेट पोलिसांशी संपर्क साधा, असे अवाहन मुंबई पोलिसांच्या गुन्हे विभागाने केले आहे.
पोलिसांच्या निदर्शनास आले आहे की, काही अज्ञात शक्तींकडून अथवा सायबर गुन्हेगारांकडून नागरिकांना मेल, व्हॉट्सॲप, एसएमएस किंवा फोन कॉलवर संपर्क साधला जातो आहे. हे लोक सामान्य नागरिकांना कायदेशीर कारवाई करण्याचे अथवा अटक करण्याची धमकी देतात. त्यामुळे नागरिकांनी अशा धमक्यांना भिक घालू नका. थेट पोलिसांशी संपर्क साधा, असे पोलिसांनी म्हटले आहे.
