2008 साली दक्षिण मुंबई मध्ये ताज हॉटेल सह सीएसएमटी स्टेशन परिसरामध्ये दहशतवाद्यांनी बेछूट गोळीबार केला होता.
मुंबई वर 26 नोव्हेंबरला झालेल्या दहशतवादी हल्ल्याला आज 16 वर्ष पूर्ण होत आहे. या हल्ल्यामध्ये 166 जणांनी आपला जीव गमावला होता. तर 300 हून अधिक जखमी होते. आज महाराष्ट्राचे मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे, उपमुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस, अजित पवार यांनी Police Commissioner's Office, भागात शहीदांना आदरांजली अर्पण केली आहे. या हल्ल्यामध्ये पोलिस दलांनी अनेक कर्तबगार पोलिस अधिकारी देखिल गमावले आहेत.
