विरोधीपक्ष नेते राहुल गांधी, शशी थरूर, समाजवादी पार्टीचे खासदार Mohibbullah Nadvi, Zia Ur Rehman Barq, Afzal Ansari, Iqra Choudhary, आणि Kapil Sibal यांना पाकिस्तान हाय कमिशन कडून आंबे देण्यात आले आहेत.
सदिच्छांसह पाकिस्तान हाय कमिशन कडून काही भारतीय खासदारांना आंबे भेट म्हणून देण्यात आले आहेत. रिपोर्ट्सनुसार यामध्ये विरोधीपक्ष नेते राहुल गांधी, शशी थरूर, समाजवादी पार्टीचे खासदार Mohibbullah Nadvi, Zia Ur Rehman Barq, Afzal Ansari, Iqra Choudhary, आणि Kapil Sibal आहेत. ही Mango Diplomacy नवी नाही. 2015 च्या ईद मध्येही पाकिस्तानचे पंतप्रधान Nawaz Sharif यांनी भारताचे पंतप्रधान आणि अन्य नेत्यांना 10 किलो आंबे पाठवले होते. यामध्ये प्रणब मुखर्जी, मनमोहन सिंग, अटल बिहारी बाजपेयी यांचाही समावेश आहे.
