भारतामध्ये मागील 24 तासांत 35,662 नवे रूग्ण समोर आले आहेत तर 33,798 लोकांनी कोविड वर मात केली आहे. दरम्यान कालचा दिवस सर्वोच्च एका दिवसातील कोविड 19 लसीकरणासाठी देखील चर्चेत राहिला. देशात काल 2.5 कोटी पेक्षा अधिक लोकांना कोविड लस देण्यात आली.
