मणिपूरमधील सध्याच्या हिंसाचाराच्या (Manipur Violence) वेळी इंफाळमध्ये (Imphal) तैनात असलेल्या आयकर विभागाच्या अधिकाऱ्याला त्याच्या अधिकृत निवासस्थानात घसून ठार करण्यात आले, असे भारतीय महसूल सेवा (IRS) असोसिएशनने शुक्रवारी सांगितले. एका ट्विटमध्ये, असोसिएशनने "हिंसेच्या घृणास्पद कृत्याचा तीव्र निषेध केला ज्यामुळे इम्फाळमधील कर सहाय्यक शे. लेटमिंथांग हाओकिप यांचा मृत्यू झाला".
