G20 summit च्या पार्श्वभूमीवर दिल्लीत 8-10 सप्टेंबर दरम्यान शाळा, सरकारी कार्यालयं,व्यावसायिक आस्थापना बंद राहणार आहेत. CM Arvind Kejriwal यांनी याबाबतचा प्रस्ताव मंजूर केला आहे. Delhi Police कडून Chief Secretary कडे यासाठी प्रस्ताव पाठवण्यात आला होता. या समीट साठी 29 देशांतील मंत्री आणि  13-14 आंतरराष्ट्रीय संस्थांचे अधिकारी 7 सप्टेंबरच्या रात्रीपासून दिल्लीत येण्यास सुरुवात होणार आहे. 8 सप्टेंबरपासून सुरू होणाऱ्या परिषदेत हे परदेशी पाहुणे सर्वप्रथम प्रगती मैदानावर होणाऱ्या परिषदेत सहभागी होणार आहेत.
