पशुवैद्यकीय पथकाकडून प्रोटोकॉलनुसार मृत मादी चित्ताचे (दक्षा) शवविच्छेदन केले जात आहे.असे पर्यावरण, वन आणि हवामान बदल मंत्रालयाकडून सांगण्यात आले आहे.
दक्षिण आफ्रिकेतून कुनो नॅशनल पार्कमध्ये सोडलेली मादी चित्ता दक्षा देखरेख करणार्या पथकाला जीवघेणा जखमी आढळली. पशुवैद्यकांनी उपचार केले, परंतु त्याच दिवशी चित्ताचा दुर्दैवी मृत्यू झाल्याचे सांगितले. प्रथमदर्शनी, मादी चित्ता दक्षावर आढळलेल्या जखमा प्रणय/समागमाच्या प्रयत्नादरम्यान नराशी झालेल्या हिंसक संवादामुळे झाल्या आहेत असे दिसते.
