आयर्लंड क्रिकेट संघाने इतिहास रचला आहे. जमैका येथील सबिना पार्क येथे खेळल्या गेलेल्या तीन सामन्यांची वनडे मालिका आयर्लंडने 2-1 ने जिंकली आहे. आयर्लंडने दोन वेळच्या विश्वविजेत्या वेस्ट इंडिज संघाला त्यांच्या घरच्या मैदानावर पराभूत करण्याची ही पहिलीच वेळ आहे. यापूर्वी आयर्लंडने वेस्ट इंडिजविरुद्ध एकदिवसीय मालिका कधीही जिंकली नव्हती.
आयर्लंड क्रिकेट संघाने (Ireland Cricket Team) इतिहास रचला आहे. जमैका येथील सबिना पार्क (Sabina Park) येथे खेळल्या गेलेल्या तीन सामन्यांची वनडे मालिका आयर्लंडने 2-1 ने जिंकली आहे. आयर्लंडने दोन वेळच्या विश्वविजेत्या वेस्ट इंडिजला (West Indies) त्यांच्या घरच्या मैदानावर पराभूत करण्याची ही पहिलीच वेळ आहे. या मालिकेत वेस्ट इंडिजच्या संघाने विजयाने सुरुवात केली असली तरी आयर्लंड संघाचा शेवट मात्र विजयाने झाला आहे. आयर्लंडने दुसरा सामना 5 आणि शेवटचा सामना 2 विकेटने जिंकला.
