आज 18 जून रोजी जगभरात फादर्स डे (Fathers Day 2023) साजरा केला जात आहे. हा दिवस वडिलांना समर्पित आहे. यावेळी क्रिकेटचा देव म्हटल्या जाणाऱ्या सचिन तेंडुलकरला (Sachin Tendulkar) त्याचे वडील रमेश तेंडुलकर यांची आठवण झाली. सचिनचे वडील कादंबरीकार आणि मराठी शाळेतील शिक्षक होते, ते आता या जगात नाहीत. फादर्स डेनिमित्त सचिन तेंडुलकरने वडील रमेश तेंडुलकर यांची आठवण काढली. यादरम्यान तो भावूकही झाला. वडिलांसोबतचा फोटो शेअर करत सचिनने लिहिले की, 'माझे वडील प्रेमळ होते, कडक नव्हते. घाबरण्याऐवजी त्याने प्रेमाने वागले. त्याने मला खूप काही शिकवले आणि जग माझ्यासाठी अभिप्रेत आहे. त्याची विचारसरणी, मूल्ये आणि पालकत्वाच्या त्याच्या कल्पना त्याच्या काळाच्या खूप पुढे होत्या. मला तुझी आठवण येते बाबा!'
