आयपीएल 2022 ची तयारी वेगाने सुरू झाली आहे आणि या क्रमाने आगामी हंगामासाठी सर्व 10 संघांचा गट जाहीर करण्यात आला आहे. सर्व 10 संघांचे दोन गटात वर्गीकरण करण्यात आले आहे. आयपीएल 2022 चे स्वरूप 2011 मध्ये खेळल्या गेलेल्या हंगामासारखेच आहे. त्या हंगामात देखील आयपीएलचे एकूण 10 संघांमध्ये आयोजन करण्यात आले होते.
