येस बँकेचे (YES BANK) संस्थापक राणा कपूर (Rana Kapoor) यांना मार्च 2020 मध्ये अटक करण्यात आलेल्या मनी लाँड्रिंग प्रकरणात मुंबई न्यायालयाने गुरुवारी जामीन मंजूर केला. मनी लाँडरिंग प्रतिबंधक कायद्याअंतर्गत (PMLA) विशेष न्यायालयाने कपूर यांना फौजदारी प्रक्रिया संहितेच्या कलम 436A अंतर्गत दिलासा दिला, कलम 436A जास्तीत जास्त कालावधी प्रदान करते ज्यासाठी अंडरट्रायलला ताब्यात घेतले जाऊ शकते. कलमाच्या तरतुदीत असे नमूद केले आहे की अशा कोणत्याही व्यक्तीला कायद्यातील गुन्ह्यासाठी प्रदान केलेल्या कमाल कारावासाच्या निम्म्यापेक्षा जास्त कालावधीसाठी कोठडीत ठेवता येणार नाही.
