पावसाळ्यात तलावांची पूर्ण क्षमता पूर्ण करण्यासाठी आवश्यक असलेला एकूण 14.47 लाख दशलक्ष लिटर पाणीसाठा आहे.
मुंबईच्या गरजा पूर्ण करणाऱ्या तलावांमध्ये 1.80 लाख दशलक्ष लिटर पाणीसाठा सध्या उपलब्ध आहे. मागील आठवड्यात मुंबई आणि आसपासच्या भागात धुव्वाधार पाऊस झाला आहे. पण हा पाऊस जलसाठा असलेल्या भागात झालेला नाही त्यामुळे मुंबईकरांची पाण्याची गरज भागवण्यासाठी जलसाठ्यात जोरदार पाऊस येत्या चार महिन्यात पडणं गरजेचं आहे. पावसाळ्यात तलावांची पूर्ण क्षमता पूर्ण करण्यासाठी आवश्यक असलेला एकूण 14.47 लाख दशलक्ष लिटर पाणीसाठा आहे.
