कसाराजवळ मालगाडीचे दोन डबे रुळावरून घसरल्याने मुंबईकडून नाशिककडे जाणारी वाहतुक ठप्प झाली आहे. कल्याण स्टेशन रोड एआरटी (अपघातात मदत ट्रेन) आणि इगतपुरी स्टेशन रेल एआरटी (अपघात मदत ट्रेन) मागवून अपघातस्थळी हलविण्यात आले. या अपघाताच्या नंतर रेल्वे सेवा काही काळ ठप्प झाली होती.
