कलाकार चिंतन उपाध्याय यांना सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने सोमवारी जामीन मंजूर केला. मुंबई उच्च न्यायालयात त्यांनी केलेल्या अपिलावर सुनावणी होईपर्यंत त्यांच्या शिक्षेला स्थगिती देण्यात आली आहे.
SC Grants Bail To Chintan Upadhyay: आपली विभक्त पत्नी हेमा उपाध्याय आणि त्यांचे वकील हरीश भंभानी यांच्या हत्येचा कट रचल्याच्या आरोपाखाली दोषी ठरलेल्या कलाकार चिंतन उपाध्याय यांना सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने सोमवारी जामीन मंजूर केला. मुंबई उच्च न्यायालयात त्यांनी केलेल्या अपिलावर सुनावणी होईपर्यंत त्यांच्या शिक्षेला स्थगिती देण्यात आली आहे. गेल्या वर्षी डिसेंबरमध्ये मुंबई उच्च न्यायालयाने जामीन अर्ज फेटाळताना म्हटले होते की, उपाध्याय दुहेरी हत्याकांडात सामील असल्याचे मानण्यास पुरेशी कारणे आहेत.
