Mumbai: विक्रोळी येथे इस्टर्न एक्स्प्रेस हायवेवर ट्रेलरवरून मशिन पडल्याने दुचाकीस्वार जखमी; ड्रायव्हरला अटक (Watch Video)
विक्रोळी येथे ईस्टर्न एक्सप्रेस हायवेवर पहाटे 4.30 वाजता भीषण अपघातात झाला. पोलिसांनी ट्रेलर चालकाला अटक केली असून त्याच्याविरुद्ध गुन्हा दाखल केला आहे.
Mumbai: विक्रोळी येथे ईस्टर्न एक्सप्रेस हायवेवर (Eastern Express Highway) पहाटे 4.30 वाजता भीषण अपघातात झाला. एका ट्रेलरवर(Trailer) असलेले जड मशीन पडल्याने दुचाकीस्वार जखमी (Biker Injured) झाल्याची माहिती समोर आली आहे. विपुल पांचाळ (44) असे जखमी झालेल्या दुचाकीस्वाराचे नाव आहे. कांदिवलीच्या दिशेने जात असताना जवळच असलेल्या ट्रेलरच्या चालकाचे वाहनावरील नियंत्रण सुटले. त्यामुळे वाहतूक करणारी जड मशीन पांचाळ यांच्यावर पडली. स्थानिकांनी जखमी दुचाकीस्वाराला जवळच्या रुग्णालयात दाखल केले.
"अपघातामुळे महामार्गावरील वाहतुकीवर काही काळ परिणाम झाला. भारतीय न्याय संहिता (BNS) कायद्याच्या संबंधित कलमांतर्गत आणि मोटार वाहन कायद्यानुसार ट्रेलर चालकाला अटक केली आहे," असे विक्रोळी पोलिस ठाण्याचे वरिष्ठ निरीक्षक सूर्यकांत नायकवडी यांनी सांगितले.
