भगवान श्रीराम मांसाहारी होते या वक्तव्याने शरद पवार गटाचे प्रवक्ते जितेंद्र आव्हाड पुन्हा चर्चेमध्ये आले आहेत. त्यांच्या वक्तव्यावरून राम भक्तांच्या भावना दुखावल्या गेल्या असल्याची भावना बोलून दाखत भाजपा नेते राम कदम यांनी पोलिसात तक्रार नोंदवली आहे. दरम्यान राज्यभर भाजपा जितेंद्र आव्हाडांच्या वक्तव्याचा निषेध करत आहेत. अनेक ठिकाणी त्यांच्या फोटोला मारहाण करत त्यांच्या विरूद्ध घोषणाबाजी केली जात आहे.
