Automatic Weather Station: आता राज्यातील प्रत्येक गावात बसवली जाणार स्वयंचलित हवामान केंद्र; शेतकऱ्यांना मिळणार मोठी मदत

केंद्र सरकारच्या वेदर इन्फॉर्मेशन नेटवर्क डेटा सिस्टम (WINDS) प्रकल्पांतर्गत, महाराष्ट्र सरकारने राज्यातील प्रत्येक गावात स्वयंचलित हवामान केंद्र (AWS) स्थापन करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला आहे. सध्या महाराष्ट्रात प्रत्येक तालुका स्तरावर स्वयंचलित हवामान केंद्रे बसवण्यात आली आहेत. परंतु आता राज्य सरकारने एक सरकारी ठराव जारी करून, अचूक हवामान अंदाजासाठी आणि महाराष्ट्रातील शेतकरी आणि नागरिकांना मदत करण्यासाठी महाराष्ट्रातील प्रत्येक गावात एडब्ल्यूएस बसवण्याची घोषणा केली आहे.
