नंदीग्राम मध्ये जनतेला हवा तो निकाल लागला आणि मी त्याचा स्वीकार करते, असं म्हणत ममता बनर्जी यांनी आपला पराभव स्वीकारला आहे. पुढे त्या म्हणतात, "नंदीग्रामची चिंता करू नका. मी नंदीग्रामसाठी संघर्ष केला कारण मी त्यासाठी एक चळवळ लढविली होती. ठीक आहे. आम्ही 221 पेक्षा जास्त जागा जिंकल्या असून भाजप निवडणूक हरला आहे."
