श्रीलंकेचा वेगवान गोलंदाज लसिथ मलिंगा टी -20 मधून निवृत्त झाला आहे. मलिंगाने आपल्या ट्विटरवर एक व्हिडिओ पोस्ट करून याची घोषणा केली आहे. मलिंगाने कसोटी आणि एकदिवसीय क्रिकेटमधून आधीच निवृत्ती घेतली होती, आता मलिंगा फ्रँचायझी टी-20 लीगमध्येही खेळताना दिसणार नाही. आयपीएल 2021 ची दुसरी फेरी 19 सप्टेंबरपासून होणार आहे. त्याआधी मलिंगाने निवृत्ती घेत मुंबई इंडियन्सलाही धक्का दिला आहे. सोशल मीडियावर एक व्हिडिओ पोस्ट करून मलिंगाने सर्व फ्रँचायझी आणि श्रीलंका क्रिकेटचे आभार मानले आहेत.
