बॉक्सिंगमध्ये भारताला आणखी एक यश मिळाले आहे. देशाची महिला बॉक्सर आणि जगज्जेती निखत जरीनने (Nikhat Zareen) रविवारी राष्ट्रकुल स्पर्धेत (Commonwealth Games) सुवर्णपदक जिंकले.
बॉक्सिंगमध्ये भारताला आणखी एक यश मिळाले आहे. देशाची महिला बॉक्सर आणि जगज्जेती निखत जरीनने (Nikhat Zareen) रविवारी राष्ट्रकुल स्पर्धेत (Commonwealth Games) सुवर्णपदक जिंकले. निखतने 51 किलो वजनी गटाच्या अंतिम फेरीत उत्तर आयर्लंडच्या कॅरी मॅकनॉलचा 5-0 असा पराभव करून सुवर्णपदक जिंकले. या खेळांमधील निखतचे हे पहिलेच पदक आहे. नुकतेच त्याने जागतिक अजिंक्यपद स्पर्धेतही सुवर्णपदक पटकावले होते.
