Manipur Earthquake: मणिपूर 4.0 रिश्टर स्केल भूकंपाच्या जोरदार धक्क्यांनी हादरले
मणिपूर भूकंपाच्या दृष्टीने सक्रिय प्रदेशात स्थित आहे आणि यापूर्वी अनेक भूकंप अनुभवले आहेत.
मणिपूर येथे आज 9 ऑगस्ट रोजी दुपारी 1:23 वाजता 4.0 तीव्रतेचा भूकंप झाला. भूकंपाचा केंद्रबिंदू 61 किमी खोलीवर होता. भूकंपाचे धक्के मणिपूरच्या इतर अनेक भागात तसेच शेजारील नागालँड, आसाम आणि मिझोराम या राज्यांमध्येही जाणवले.
मणिपूर भूकंपाच्या दृष्टीने सक्रिय प्रदेशात स्थित आहे आणि यापूर्वी अनेक भूकंप अनुभवले आहेत. मणिपूरमध्ये सर्वात अलीकडील मोठा भूकंप 4 जानेवारी 2016 रोजी 6.7 रिश्टर स्केलचा होता. त्या भूकंपामुळे मोठ्या प्रमाणात जीवित व वित्तहानी झाली.
