जम्मू-काश्मीरमधील रियासी जिल्ह्यात सोमवारी सुरक्षा दलांशी झालेल्या चकमकीत एक दहशतवादी ठार झाला. गोळीबारात एक पोलीस कर्मचारीही जखमी झाला आहे. एका गुप्त माहितीवर कारवाई करून, त्या भागात ऑपरेशन सुरू करण्यात आले, जेथे लष्कर-ए-तैयबा गटाचे दोन दहशतवादी लपले असल्याचे सांगण्यात आले. स्थानिक पोलीस अधिकारी आणि भारतीय लष्कराच्या सुरक्षा दलांनी परिसराला वेढा घातला असून जिल्ह्यातील तुली परिसरात सध्या कारवाई सुरू आहे.
