आयकर विभागाच्या म्हणण्यानुसार, 29 डिसेंबरपर्यंत 5.09 कोटी करदात्यांनी रिटर्न भरले आहेत. ज्यामध्ये 23.24 लाख करदात्यांनी एकट्या 29 डिसेंबर रोजी आयकर रिटर्न भरले आहेत.
आर्थिक वर्ष 20-21 साठी इनकम टैक्स रिटर्न (Income Tax Return) भरण्याची अंतिम तारीख 31 डिसेंबर आहे. महसूल सचिवांच्या म्हणण्यानुसार, आयटीआर फाइलिंगसाठी मुदत वाढवण्याचा कोणताही प्रस्ताव नाही. आयकर विभागाच्या म्हणण्यानुसार, 29 डिसेंबरपर्यंत 5.09 कोटी करदात्यांनी रिटर्न भरले आहेत. ज्यामध्ये 23.24 लाख करदात्यांनी एकट्या 29 डिसेंबर रोजी आयकर रिटर्न भरले आहेत.
